Why not volunteer at Chorleywood Literature Festival?
The Chorleywood Literature Festival depends on its army of volunteer helpers in the run up to and during the festival weekend itself.
Volunteer activities in advance of the festival
Tasks involve helping run promotion stalls, distributing posters, flyers and programmes, and general errands as required.
You don't need any prior experience but this would particularly suit people with an interest in marketing who like meeting members of the public.
Volunteer activities during the festival
Tasks may include helping to set up venues, putting out chairs and tables, refreshment preparation and serving, taking tickets, helping with queries, guiding people to their seats and helping clear up after events.
As a volunteer you will receive a full briefing, be able to sit in at the events during your shift and partake of the refreshments offered at those events.
So please download a pdf application form and return to Chorleywood Bookshop, or email volunteers@cwlitfest.org to find out how you can help us make this year's LitFest the best yet.
Do you have any special skills to offer?
If you have any skills or experience that you think might benefit the Litfest, we would love to hear from you - these may include PR, graphic design, lighting, music, events organisation etc.
Work experience
Helping with the Litfest is a brilliant way to get extra experience to put on your CV, especially if you are keen on a career in events management, marketing or PR. Please contact us (as above) if you are interested.
